The Indiana football team stayed in play for a top receiving prospect from Missouri when he announced his top 10 on Twitter on Wednesday.

Demetrius Cannon a 3-star wide receiver from Missouri unveiled his top 10 college choices on Wednesday evening and the Hoosiers were on the list.

Indiana was joined by fellow Big Ten schools Penn State and Illinois along with Missouri, Arkansas, Louisville, Kentucky, Kansas, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia.

Cannon is currently rated as the 8th best player in Missouri and 84th receiver in the country according to 247sports.  He has very good size at 6’3″ and 205 pounds and moves great for his build.

There are no crystal ball predictions yet for the Junior receiver but Arkansas and Missouri are thought of as the favorites currently.

The Hoosiers though have a lot to offer Cannon as there will probably be plenty of playing time available as Whop Philyor and Ty Fryfogle are both seniors this year and they are the top two receivers for Indiana coming back.

Cannon would be a huge get for the Hoosiers and would help bring depth to a position that is looking a little thin for the 2021 season. The size that Cannon would bring would be huge for the Hoosiers and would be a matchup problem for some of the smaller defensive backs in the Big Ten.

The Hoosiers should feel good still being in the mix, and it will be interesting to see if he will keep them on his list moving forward when he narrows it down to five and further.
