The Indiana basketball team has produced some great NBA talent. During this excruciating hiatus from sports, why not take a crack at building a team exclusively with Hoosiers currently in the NBA.

With a tradition that includes almost 2,000 wins, five NCAA titles, 22 B1G championships and 51 weeks being ranked as the best team in the nation, Indiana University is an elite basketball program.

One thing that Indiana has always been revered for is its capability to produce elite NBA talent. In fact, Indiana had produced the sixth most NBA players out of every college program in the country with 66 players. Currently, Indiana is in the top ten for most players in the NBA in the 2019-20 season.

The past couple of decades have been up and down for the Hoosiers, nevertheless, a program famous for producing players such as Isiah Thomas and Kent Benson during the Bobby Knight era has not slowed down its talent factory in recent years. Indiana has produced quality NBA talent from the Kelvin Sampson regime right up through Archie Miller‘s current Hoosier team.

Currently, there is an abundance of former Hoosier players in the NBA. Scattered all over both the Eastern and the Western conferences, there are Hoosiers who go to war with their teams and are very productive. Hoosiers in the league are as young as 20 and as old as 31. There’s also Hoosiers playing at every position in the league.

With that in mind, we created a starting lineup built from the best Indiana players playing in the NBA. The players will have had to play in the 2019-20 NBA season in order to qualify for this exercise.
