Indiana Football: Hoosiers defensive end enters transfer portal

The Indiana football team is losing another player as Madison Norris has decided to put his name in the transfer portal.
The Indiana Hoosiers football team has been red hot on the recruiting trail lately, but on Monday a current player decided to put his name in the transfer portal. Madison Norris, a defensive end, announced on twitter that he has decided to transfer.
Norris played his high school ball at Hamilton Southeastern but was never able to carve out a niche for the Hoosiers. He was listed as the fourth-ranked prospect in the state of Indiana in his graduating class.
The Hoosiers redshirted him his freshman year, and during the 2019 season, Norris only got in one game. He seemed to not be able to make the jump to get in the starting lineup and decided that he would have a better chance to play elsewhere.
Norris is a gifted athlete as he won state twice in the 110-meter hurdles while in high school. He was also a force off the edge for the football team. While he had a lot of potential, it is tough to tell how much of a difference he would have made on the defensive side of the ball for the Hoosiers.
It is unclear where he might transfer too, but like any transfer right now it is a tough decision without making any visits. When he picked the Hoosiers, he chose them over Purdue, Missouri, and Tennessee. Those could be possibilities due to the familiarity with those programs but it is hard to predict.
