The Indiana basketball team picked up a huge commitment on Tuesday as 4-star center Logan Duncomb picked the Hoosiers.

Indiana scored a huge win on Tuesday when Logan Duncomb a 6’9″ center from Cincinnati, Ohio committed to the Hoosiers. Duncomb is a four-star recruit in the 2021 graduating class and picked the Hoosiers over Ohio State, Stanford, Xavier, and Wisconsin among others.

Duncomb is rated as the 14th best center in the country according to 247sports. With Joey Brunk graduating after this year the commitment of Duncomb is a huge get for the Hoosiers. He is a huge body down low with a 7’3″ wingspan.

The chance to play early in his career led Duncomb to ultimately pick the Hoosiers, but was quoted as saying it was a tough decision.

"“It was a hard choice. There was a lot that every school had to offer. It was a tough decision, but after looking at everything, I felt Indiana was best for me.”"

Duncomb also said he loved the facilities and that was a big factor in picking the Hoosiers.

"“Their academics are top notch, along with most Big Ten schools. Their facilities are top notch. They’re probably the best facilities I’ve seen. The culture there, the atmosphere in games, the atmosphere around campus, I love it,” Duncomb told Peegs.com this season about IU."

Duncomb is the second commit from the class of 2021 following 5-star Khristian Lander. Lander though is expected to reclassify to the 2020 class. Hoosier fans will have to wait a year, but the idea of having Duncomb and Trayce Jackson-Davis patrolling the middle and grabbing rebound after rebound has to be getting them excited.

Archie Miller continues to bring in top recruits, now they just need to start climbing the Big Ten standings.
