3. Logan Duncomb

While many people may not know too much about Logan Duncomb, he should be a top priority for the Hoosiers.

The 6-foot-9 big man is a prototypical Big Ten forward who has great touch around the rim with a nice combination of patience and soft hands. With Archie Miller noting how valuable it is to have an excess of big men at his disposal come conference play, he is starting to latch onto Duncomb.

While Duncomb isn’t extremely athletic, his length allows him to make up for that deficiency and rebound and protect the rim at a high level.

One underrated part of Duncomb’s game that would be a major addition to Archie Miller’s system is his ability to hedge on screens and switch on smaller defenders with his terrific footwork. While Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson were capable this year, the Hoosiers lacked a lot on the defensive end when De’Ron Davis and Joey Brunk were put in ball-screen situations.

Duncomb won’t necessarily be the high-impact player that Kaufman or Aminu would be when they step on campus, but his continued development would prove to be invaluable throughout his college career.

He is currently ranked as the No. 80 overall prospect in 2021.
