2. Aminu Mohammed

The Hoosiers struggled to score the ball on multiple occasions throughout the past two years, but even more last year. Not only was it the entire team, but even more in the backcourt.

While Indiana has multiple guards on the roster for the next few seasons, not everyone has the ability to be a true wing. That is where Aminu Mohammed comes into play.

Mohammed is a lethal scorer from anywhere on the court. In back-to-back seasons, Mohammed has averaged more than 34 points per game and has been nearly unstoppable every time he steps on the floor.

While he doesn’t necessarily have eye-popping length, his toughness and ability to play through contact is something most prospects in the 2021 class don’t have.

Typically playing much bigger than his 6-foot-4 frame, Mohammed has highly advanced ball skills and can beat nearly anyone off of the dribble at a given time. While his slashing ability is where he is best, by no means is he incapable of stepping out and hitting outside shots. However, he is still very inconsistent from deep and that is something that may take a bit longer to develop.

Mohammed would fit exactly what is missing for Indiana and that is someone who you can give the ball to and have him go get a bucket. He’s a true winner and would bring an edge to Indiana every time he is on the floor.

Ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the 2021 class, he is a borderline four and five-star prospect on most recruiting sites.
