Indiana basketball continues its recruiting effort but with Khristian Lander expected to join the 2020 class, here are 3 must land commits for 2021.

While college basketball coaches would normally be finishing up their seasons and getting ready for AAU to begin, the new way to recruit prospects is over FaceTime and through texts and calls. For Archie Miller and the Indiana basketball program, they are looking to attack the 2021 class hard.

Already receiving a commitment from five-star point guard Khristian Lander, Indiana is fully expecting him to join the 2020 class, leaving some big holes to fill in 2021.

Indiana will be losing Justin Smith, Al Durham and Joey Brunk, all seniors, next year and will need to replace the production from the that trio. Furthermore, if Trayce Jackson-Davis leaves after his sophomore season, that will leave a lot to be desired.

Though Indiana will still be a roster with a lot of experience, most of the senior class – and Jackson-Davis – will make up most of the scoring and rebounding. Production will be needed and needed at a high level.

Because of that, Archie Miller must bring in a talented 2021 recruiting class, with players who will be capable of being big-time talents right when they step on campus.

Regardless of whether Khristian Lander goes 2020 and stays in 2021, here are three prospects that Indiana must land in order to keep the momentum it has gained in Archie Miller’s  tenure.
