2. Ty Fryfogle – WR

Fryfogle, a senior, had a very good Junior year but was overshadowed by how well Whop Philyor played for the Hoosiers. He ended the 2019 season third on the team with 45 receptions for 604 yards and scored three touchdowns for the second consecutive season.

Fryfogle has been solid for the Hoosiers but could really see a jump this year. Indiana still has Philyor and tight end Peyton Hendershot but lost Nick Westbrook who was a valuable piece to Indiana last year.

Philyor will still probably be the number one option for Michael Penix Jr.and the Hoosiers and Hendershot is a good safety blanket at tight end. But with the way Philyor broke out last year, he will undoubtedly be tasked with going against the top defensive back for each team.

With Philyor being blanketed by the opposing teams best, that should leave Fryfogle with the opportunity to be the top option when he is shut down. He has shown he can have some big games and has the ability to expand on that this year.

Ty Fryfogle is going to be a big part of the Hoosier’s success next year and if Indiana wants to be successful they need him to step into the second receiver role.

Here is to say he is up to the task and steps up and he and Philyor have big years and the Hoosiers have one of the better offenses in the conference.
