Indiana Basketball: Top 10 moments from 2019-20 season

3. Green scores 30 in win over Florida State
Indiana ran through their November schedule undefeated but wasn’t tested at all. It was a very weak schedule and had fans wondering if the Hoosiers were any good or if it was just a product of how poor their schedule was.
That changed when they hosted Florida State to open December in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Seminoles were ranked 17th and had already won the Emerald Coast Classic with a win over Purdue. They would eventually win the ACC and many thought they were a dark horse team to win the whole thing.
Their trip to Bloomington, though, was not pleasant as the Hoosiers came out ready to play. More importantly Devonte Green came ready to play. Green had a strange box score as he hit five shots inside the arc, five shots from deep, and five from the free-throw line. Altogether he scored 30 points and helped the Hoosiers pick up their first big win of the year.
Indiana took control in the first half, led by 11 at the break and sailed through the second half with little trouble. The Hoosiers had one of their most complete games of the year and ran away with an 80-64 win.
