6. Green  gets hot against Iowa

When Devonte Green got hot this year, he was one of the toughest players to stop and the Hoosiers were tough to beat. Fortunately for the Hoosiers, the game against Iowa was one of those times.

The Hawkeyes came into the game ranked 21st in the country and had one of the best players in the country on their team. Luka Garza did not disappoint for Iowa scoring a game-high 38 points, but the rest of the team only scored 39.

Indiana countered with Green off the bench and he was great in this game. He hit a season-high seven three-pointers in scoring 27 points. The rest of the Hoosiers hit four more but it was Green’s play that drove the Hoosiers to the big win.

It was yet another one of the Hoosiers wins at home against a ranked opponent and the games we keep talking about that helped build a great resume for Indiana.

It was a tough year for Green, but this game plus another one coming up on our list showed the Hoosiers what they thought they were getting from him this year. It was a game the Hoosiers needed and Green delivered in a big way.
