2. Armaan Franklin for the win

The Hoosiers’ Crossroads Classic game against Notre Dame wasn’t supposed to be a tough game. Indiana had been playing well and Notre Dame was struggling coming into the game. The Hoosiers flexed their muscles in the first 25 minutes and led by 16 with just under fifteen minutes to play.

That is when the second half scoring droughts started to become a problem for Indiana. They went through two in the second half as the Fighting Irish slowly made their way back. In the next 11 minutes, Notre Dame came back and took a five-point lead.

With 3:42 left in the game, the Hoosiers needed to fight back and that is exactly what they did. After blowing the big lead, Indiana responded by holding Notre Dame to just one point the rest of the way. But even then they found themselves down two points with 15 seconds left and that is when Armaan Franklin did this:

It was a big-time shot from Franklin and one that helped save the day for the Hoosiers. It was a character-building win for Indiana after blowing a big lead. It was probably the biggest shot for Franklin this year and couldn’t have come at a better time.
