The Indiana football program looks to take another big step forward in 2020 and that means high expectations. Here are four bold predictions for this year.
Despite spring football being suspended for the time being, the excitement around the Indiana football program is still there. From a successful 2019 to a 2020 with high expectations, it is time to start looking ahead.
The Hoosiers had a record-breaking 2019 season that brought a lot of ‘firsts’ and ‘first time since’ stats. Now, Tom Allen has the program expecting that kind of success every year.
Since the end of last year, however, a lot has happened. Peyton Ramsey transferred to Northwestern, Coy Cronk to Iowa. Sampson James left the program and returned again. The Hoosiers also lost Kalen DeBoer, who became the Fresno State head coach, a handful of assistants elsewhere, as well as training staff members to Alabama.
While losing those members of the roster and staff hurt, it also means the Hoosiers are building something special.
With new faces on staff and new players 2020 will come with new excitement and fresh blood ready to build on this past year.
Because there is no better time to come up with early predictions, we give you our four bold predictions for the 2020 season.
