3.  vs Michigan State – Week 8

Indiana did something not many would have predicted last year in finishing ahead of the Spartans in the Big Ten East. Even though they were better than Michigan State they still came up short when playing them last year. This year, though, seems like a game the Hoosiers should be able to take.

They could possibly even be the favorite in this game and that would have seemed like a pipe dream just last year. The Spartans will have a new head coach and a lot of skilled positions to fill. The Spartans were not a good offensive team last year and it doesn’t look like that will change this year. The defense could still be good but they showed cracks last year and Whop Philyor could have a big day yet again this year.

2. at Wisconsin – Week 1

This game is going to be a big deal for the Hoosiers this year. Especially with the events of the spring season, this could be the first major sporting event fort Indiana in almost six months. The Hoosier faithful are excited after the 2019 season and a game against Big Ten power Wisconsin could show if the Hoosiers are really ready to compete in the loaded conference.

Opening the season against a conference opponent is not easy, especially at Wisconsin, but if the Hoosiers want to play with the big boys this is the time to show it. Indiana is going to extremely excited to finally see their Hoosiers back in action and this will be a must-see game.

1. vs Purdue – Week 13

It doesn’t matter who else is on the Hoosiers schedule, the battle for the Old Oaken Bucket will always be the top game on their schedule. Last year’s game did not disappoint as the Boilermakers battled back, got a few lucky bounces only to come up short in double-overtime.

The Hoosiers came up with just enough plays to hold off Purdue and pick up their eighth win of the year and bring the Bucket back home to Bloomington. The Boilermakers will probably be better next year, so this is bound to be another great game.
