Khristian Lander’s Game

At 6-foot-2 and 165 pounds, Lander has an average physical build. He is, however, an extremely athletic player, capable of throwing down between-the-legs dunks in warmups and going up for alley-oops in games. Lander is also very quick but is a very smooth ball-handler.

A left-handed player, Lander excels at finishing on both sides of the basket, especially off of two-footed layups. He can finish in a crowd of bodies using a variety of different finishing techniques.

Lander is also a good and willing passer. His vision isn’t out-of-this-world but is more than enough to have good assist totals at the college level. His jump shot can be categorized in much the same way. Lander is an extremely streaky shooter from outside, showing he has the ability to shoot it from far out but needs to shoot it with more consistency.

Lander excels both in transition and in the half-court on offense. He can isolate or use pick and rolls to score and is good at attacking the rim hard and finding his teammates when the help defense comes. Long story short, Lander can create his own shot, something IU lacks, and create for others, something IU also lacks.

Indiana fans are going to love Khristian Lander in the candy stripes, whenever he steps on campus.
