Archie Miller will be the head coach next year

BUY

Two years ago the Hoosier fans were pleasantly surprised with the play of Indiana in Miller’s first year. Last year they were happy with the start of the season but a mid-season losing streak suddenly had fans ready for his head.

Miller has not really done many favors for himself this year with the way the Hoosiers have looked flat in many games this year. Every good game they have played has been followed up with a very lackluster performance.

Just last week the Hoosiers played a great game at home in beating the high-powered Iowa Hawkeyes easily only to turn around and get blown out at Michigan. It looks like the Hoosiers are two different teams on too many occasions.

Miller’s seat has definitely gotten hotter, but BUY him still being at the helm next year. While many fans might want him gone, he should probably get one more year to show what he can and can not do. He should have another year with one of the top freshmen in Trayce Jackson-Davis and he has a good recruiting class coming in.

If they still fail to produce next year then it could signal the end for MIller’s time in Bloomington. A berth to the NCAA tournament should be enough to give him one more year, but the leash will be short.

Next. Three ways to jumpstart the offense. dark

The only reason we see him not coming back is if the Hoosiers go winless the rest of the way and while possible that is highly unlikely. Miller will get at least one more year, so expect to see him patrolling the sidelines in Assembly Hall next year.
