The Indiana basketball program takes on Purdue on Saturday looking to avoid a four-game skid and win a big game in the rivalry and on the year.

There is no question that each game moving forward has become increasingly important for the Indiana basketball program and none more than Saturday against Purdue.

Not only is it rivalry week, but Archie Miller and the Hoosiers are looking to avoid a four-game losing streak and get a much-needed win against not only their most hated rival, but also a team that sits on the bubble.

Despite the terrific start this season, and wins over Michigan State and Florida State, the season has flatlined and the Hoosiers now find themselves sitting right on the bubble. Though they have been in the projected field of 68 for the majority of the season, a loss on Saturday puts a ton of pressure on the Hoosiers to win one or two away games to finish out the season, something they have only done once this year.

With that, Indiana is still looking to turn those inconsistencies into consistencies and play up to their potential.

Will Indiana have a full roster come this afternoon? Time will tell, but news seems to be good regarding the injuries surrounding the program.

In a game that he was playing his best basketball in his career, it was tough to see following an injury plagued freshman season. Archie Miller did say, however, that Thompson has been progressing nicely
