With the regular season’s final month here, there are a few things to watch for with Indiana basketball which will determine the outcome of the year.

It is crazy to think that the college basketball regular season has just one month left, but yet here we are with exactly nine regular season games left for the Indiana basketball program.

Sitting at 15-7 overall, the Hoosiers resume isn’t great, but also isn’t bad. And if any year were the year to have just an okay resume, this would be the season. With the bubble so weak, and the Big Ten so strong, Indiana theoretically has to lose six or seven of the last nine games to not make it in the NCAA Tournament.

Regardless, Indiana is a program that is searching for its true identity and one that the fan base can get around and start to build on when it comes to a resurgence. While many people don’t believe it is Archie Miller, there is still a large contingent that has faith in the third year coach for the Hoosiers. Yes, there have been many inconsistencies throughout his first two and a half seasons, but I think everyone can say that when the Hoosiers play to their potential, they are a top of the Big Ten type of team, unfortunately they just haven’t played to that potential every single game.

So far this season we have seen players being benched, new stars emerge, and players we thought would take that next step, fail to do so. The season is not lost, however, so there are still things to look for as we approach postseason play.

With that, here are the three key things to watch for as we get to the end of the regular season and on to the postseason, with sights set on the NCAA Tournament for the first time under Archie Miller.
