Indiana Basketball vs Penn State: How to watch, injuries, odds
By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball heads to No. 24 Penn State on Wednesday looking to pick up its third ranked win of the season.
It’s back on the road for the Indiana basketball program as the Hoosiers head out to try to pick up a big road win against No. 24 Penn State. With two ranked wins already this year, Penn State is one of many more opportunities that Indiana will have to bolster its resume.
After a tough home loss on Sunday against Maryland, Indiana looks to bounce back playing its third straight ranked opponent. After a shaky start to Big Ten play, the Hoosiers are playing some of their best basketball of the season and look to carry that into February.
Although the Hoosiers have a healthy backcourt, something that had doomed them earlier in the season, the frontcourt remains fragile as one member of the rotation will most likely miss Wednesday’s game against the Nittany Lions.
Let’s check out who is on the injury report, plus the rest of the game information you need to know.
Not Expected To Play
Race Thompson (Back)
The sophomore forward missed Sunday’s game against Maryland with a back and side injury after taking a hard fall in the first half of the Michigan State game. Indiana coach Archie Miller touched on Thompson’s status during his Monday night weekly radio appearance and said that he doesn’t expect him to suit up on Wednesday.
