Indiana Basketball vs Michigan State: How to watch, injuries, odds
By Alec Lasley
The Indiana basketball program starts off its big week with a game against No. 11 Michigan State at Assembly Hall.
Thursday night begins a crucial week for Indiana basketball for not only the Big Ten season, but for its tournament resume as well. With games against No. 11 Michigan State and No. 17 Maryland, the Hoosiers get the opportunity of playing both at home, giving them a huge advantage.
After splitting their road games last week against Rutgers and Nebraska, the Hoosiers are faced with a big opportunity to sort of jumpstart their Big Ten season.
Archie Miller showed against Nebraska that he is not afraid to sit his upperclassmen as both Al Durham and Devonte Green spent numerous minutes on the bench while freshman Armaan Franklin played his best all-around game of the season in 23 minutes of action.
The Hoosiers have tightened the rotation quite a bit, with Jerome Hunter, Franklin, and Devonte Green as the main three players who have seen extended action over the past few games, leaving Race Thompson, Damezi Anderson, and De’Ron Davis as spot minute players.
For injuries, while it doesn’t look like there will be any, at least expected, for IU’s game on Thursday night, it will be interesting to see what the rotation ends up being.
