Indiana Basketball vs Northwestern: How to watch, injuries, odds
By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball takes the court looking to avoid a three game skid as Northwestern comes to Assembly Hall.
What was once thought of as a gimme game earlier in the season has now turned into a must win for the Indiana basketball program. While the Hoosiers are trying to avoid a three game losing streak, a win against a 5-8 Northwestern team would just put a band-aid on the inconsistencies we have seen thus far.
Despite the good start to the season, Indiana fans are hoping this year is not like the last in which once Big Ten play came around, the Hoosiers went away.
Still in a jumbled Big Ten, winning on the road has become one of the toughest tasks in the country, so playing host on Wednesday night, Indiana needs to protect its home court advantage.
While the Hoosiers have slowly started to get healthier, and as it looks to continue against Northwestern, the depth of IU has not played up to its potential as of late.
Depth, and talented depth, was one of the parts that Archie Miller put his hat on for this season, but up to this point, the inconsistent play remains, and remains from everyone.
With that, there looks to be no names that should miss tonight’s game, which means a healthy rotation for Miller and the Hoosiers.
