The Indiana football team may have lost their bowl game, but they still had a great season. We take a look at the five best moments from the past season.

Unfortunately they last memory Hoosier fans are going to have of their football team is losing in the Gator Bowl to Tennessee. It was a tough loss for Indiana, in a game they controlled almost the whole second half. It looked like they were in prime position to win the game, but came up short at the end.

Even though the ending wasn’t what the Hoosier faithful were hoping for, there were still a lot of good moments from this past year. Indiana won eight regular-season games and had a winning record in the Big Ten for the first time since 1991.

Michael Penix Jr played well as a freshman before getting hurt and Peyton Ramsey came in and played great in relief. Whop Philyor was one of the best receivers in the Big Ten and Stevie Scott proved to be a very reliable running back.

Tom Allen was rewarded for the great season by signing a huge extension and the culture of Indiana football has seemed to take a huge turn for the better. The future looks great for the Hoosiers but they will have to prove it over more than one year.

So while we can look at the future with excitement, lets first take a look back a the top five moments of the 2019 season. A season filled with many things young Hoosier fans have never seen before.
