Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers’ All-Decade Team
By Alec Lasley
Power Forward – Trayce Jackson-Davis (2019-Present)
Indiana has had many talented front court players come through the program in the decade, but Trayce Jackson-Davis may be the best.
Just 13 games into his Indiana career, Jackson-Davis has shown he is one of the best bigs in not only the Big Ten, but the entire country with dominating performances almost every outing.
Averaging a team-high 15.4 points and 8.7 rebounds a game, the freshman big has already had five double-doubles and four 20+ point games.
Despite Jackson-Davis not having a perimeter jumper, the 6-foot-9 forward is still almost unguardable for most opponents on the block.
Currently, Jackson-Davis ranks second in the Big Ten with a 33.2 player efficiency rating – also sixth in the NCAA – and first in conference with a 139.9 offensive rating – also fourth in the country.
Whether it be scoring, rebounding, or with blocks, Jackson-Davis has already proved to be a huge playmaker on both ends of the floor and is well on his way to a terrific career, however long he may be in Bloomington.
