Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers’ All-Decade Team
By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball has had many great players come through the program over the years, but especially in the past decade.
It has been an up and down decade for the Indiana Hoosiers but despite that, it didn’t stop multiple talented players from coming through the Indiana basketball program in the past decade.
After one of the worst decades in its history in the 2000’s, the 2010’s came and rejuvenated the Indiana program, bringing it back to national prominence.
Despite not winning a National Championship since 1987, and while the Hoosiers haven’t been to a National Title game since 2002, fans still expect that kind of excellence every year.
For guys like Romeo Langford and Trayce Jackson-Davis, they have been named as some of the in-state talents to bring the IU program back to the Final Four and ultimately a National Championship, and while Langford was unable to do that, Jackson-Davis looks determined to do it.
Fans have seen guys like Victor Oladipo, Cody Zeller, Thomas Bryant, OG Anunoby, and more come through the program and reach the NBA, all having terrific careers thus far. Fans have also seen players come in with huge expectations, and see them fail to reach them.
Regardless of that, Indiana has still seen a great amount of talent come through the program over the past 10 years.
Here is the Indiana all-decade team for the 2010’s.
