2. Al Durham vs Isaiah Joe

The second explosive wing for the Razorbacks comes from Isaiah Joe. Another big guard, at 6-foot-5, Joe is yet again someone who can drop points on you in a hurry.

Averaging 16.8 points per game, he has four 20+ point games, including a 33-point outing as well. Despite his scoring ability, he isn’t as efficient as you would like from someone taking 13.9 shots per game. Shooting just 37.3 percent from the field, he is up to 42.2 percent in his last three games after a struggle to begin the season.

While he is a major scorer, he does most of his damage from behind the three-point line. With 73 percent of his attempts coming from three, he only has four games with less than 10 three-point attempts on the season.

Al Durham will be crucial in this matchup on both ends of the floor. If Durham can attack early on and get Joe in foul trouble, it severely diminishes the Arkansas offense. Joe is one of just three players with more than 50 threes attempted (114), having 70 more than the nearest teammate, and has 39 made threes compared to 40 from the rest of the roster combined.

Defensively, however, Durham has the length to disrupt Joe’s shot. Durham needs to have quality closeouts on every possession as Joe is much more of a spot up shooter in comparison to off of the dribble.

It’s likely that the Arkansas guards will pick up full court, especially Joe, so Durham can easily get some touch fouls called in the full court.
