Indiana basketball opens up 2019 Big Ten play on Saturday afternoon with a road matchup against an ailing Wisconsin Badgers program.

It was a great kickoff to the country when Indiana basketball took down No. 17 Florida State on Tuesday, but now its time to turn its attention to the first Big Ten opponent of the 2019-20 season.

Traveling to Wisconsin has not been a welcomed sight for the Hoosiers as it’s a place they haven’t won at since 1998. Despite beating Wisconsin last year in Bloomington, Wisconsin still has Indiana’s number over the past few seasons.

It looks like it may be another game without a full rotation for Archie Miller and the Hoosiers, but so far, it has yet to hurt them in the loss column.

Still with 10 players at Miller’s disposal depth continues to be a huge positive for Indiana, and likely will all season, a total change from the first few years under Miller.

Again, it looks like there will just be one person who is expected on the injury report ahead of this afternoon’s game against Wisconsin.

Questionable

Rob Phinisee (Abdominal/Ankle)

Phinisee was making progress with his head and abdominal injuries ahead of Tuesday’s game against Florida State but suffered an ankle injury in practice leading up to their game. He has been in a walking boot, like most college athletes at this time of year, and his status is still unknown ahead of today’s game.
