The Indiana football team is headed to a bowl for the first time in three years but the destination is still unknown. Which bowl would be the best for the Hoosiers to go to?

The Indiana Hoosiers are coming off their best regular season since 1993 and will be heading to a bowl game for the first time in three years. We will find out on Sunday where they will be headed, but there are still four bowls that are likely destinations for Indiana.

Originally it looked like the Hoosiers would likely be headed to the Redbox or Gator Bowls, but now there are projections of them going to the Pinstripe Bowl or even the Quick Lane Bowl. While Indiana isn’t going to complain about going to a bowl there are some that are more attractive to others.

The Big Ten has nine bowl tie-ins but after the Rose Bowl, they do not have to necessarily pick how the teams finished in the standings. The bowls want to get the most attractive matchup they can possibly get within their guidelines. How a team travels is normally a big criterion for being picked. It is the reason why Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin will probably always be favorites for bowls.

While Indiana is excited about a bowl they haven’t been known for being one of the better teams to bring fans with them. They aren’t horrible but they are never going to compete with some of the top brands in the Big Ten.

This year they should be a bigger draw than Illinois and a disappointing Michigan State team. Spartan fans probably aren’t going to be very excited about watching their team in the bowl after the team posted a 6-6 record.

This should help the Hoosiers, but it definitely puts their bowl destination up in the air. So which bowl would be the best for Indiana and which one do they hope they don’t go to? We rank the bowl possibilities
