The Indiana football season has brought many highs and with the season almost over, there is a lot to be thankful for.

It seems like just yesterday the 2019 college football season was underway, but here we are just days away from Thanksgiving and that means just one more regular season game for the Indiana football program.

At 7-4, it has been a terrific season for the Hoosiers and everyone involved with the program. Becoming bowl eligible in the first nine games, the earliest in nearly 20 years, the Hoosiers are now looking for their first eight win season since 1994.

The season was so good for the Hoosiers that they actually creeped in the top-25, a first since 1994, and has played some of the program’s best football in years.

Despite a two game losing streak, its first multi game losing streak of the season, Indiana has a chance to make it all great with a victory over Purdue this weekend in the Old Oaken Bucket rivalry.

Tom Allen, who took over the program three years ago, has completely turned around the IU program, and after two 5-7 seasons to start his tenure, has made this season a year of breaking streaks.

For Indiana, while it has been a great season, there is still a lot to be desired with two important games remaining in order to make this a successful season.

With that, here are three things to be thankful for as Indiana football fans for the 2019 season.
