Jordan Geronimo (St. Paul’s School/SF)

Upside. Upside. Upside. That is the definition of Geronimo. Still a very raw prospect, Geronimo was one of the biggest risers in the 2020 class during the summer.

The incredible potential of Geronimo starts and ends with his physical abilities. At 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, Geronimo plays even bigger with his leaping ability and great wingspan. A freak athletically, his skills are still trying to catch up with his body.

Although Geronimo has a bit of a slower release, he shot it pretty well last year at 38 percent from three in his high school season, and 35 percent on the AAU circuit. Most of his attempts are coming off of pick-and-pop or spot up opportunities as he is still gaining confidence and consistency shooting off of the dribble.

Defensively, Geronimo will stand out most, with his ability to use his athleticism to his advantage. Even at the college level, he will play and guard multiple positions and not lose a beat.

No matter what happens throughout the play on the court, Geronimo will normally be in the middle of the action as he just has a knack for the ball.

Geronimo is someone who will be inconsistent throughout his freshman season, just due to the fact of him not playing a ton of high-level competition for a long time, bursting on the scene this summer. After he gets a year under his belt though, Geronimo will be a major impact player all over the court and may be someone who doesn’t even sniff his senior season in Bloomington.
