Indiana football enters its biggest matchup of the 2019 season when traveling to Happy Valley to take on Penn State on Saturday.

It has been a great year to be part of the Indiana football program and after moving into the top 25 for the first time since 1994, the Hoosiers look to continue the momentum when traveling to Penn State on Saturday.

Not only is it the biggest game of the season for the Hoosiers, sitting at 7-2 and No. 24 in the rankings, but it could be the biggest game for the program in years.

The Hoosiers are on a four-game winning streak and look to get their eighth win of the season, both a first since the 1993 season.

With Penn State, the Nittany Lions are coming off of their first loss of the season to Minnesota and are now on the outside looking in when it comes to the College Football Playoff.

Still with a matchup against No. 1 Ohio State on its schedule, Penn State could theoretically get caught up with the pressure of that matchup and look ahead of the Hoosiers slightly.

Though Indiana is no team to gloss over anymore, the pressure that Penn State has of trying to get back in the College Football Playoff picture could be too much to handle.

For the Hoosiers, with one of the biggest wins in program history standing in front of them, how will they perform when taking the field on Saturday?

Here are the three biggest matchups to watch for when the Hoosiers and Nittany Lions take the field.
