The Indiana basketball program returns to the court on Tuesday against North Alabama looking to advance to 3-0 on the season.

With college basketball starting to get into full swing, the Indiana basketball program is still dealing with injuries of its own, just a week into the season.

The Hoosiers have been without their projected leading scorer in Devonte Green for the first two games of the season and with a questionable timeline, they may be without him for longer than expected.

With that, Al Durham and Justin Smith have stepped up in his absence and are averaging 39.5 point per game combined through two games.

Indiana’s Archie Miller continues to work different lineups onto the floor and with what could be the best bench and deepest team in his Indiana tenure, getting healthy is a main priority.

Though the Hoosiers don’t realistically need Green until December rolls around, the sooner he gets back on the floor, the better so the entire team can get the needed chemistry together before hitting the hardest part of the non-conference schedule.

Here is the list of the injuries ahead of Tuesday’s game against North Alabama.

Out

Devonte Green (Hamstring)

Green has missed most of the preseason with a hamstring injury. After not playing in either the Marquette scrimmage or Gannon Exhibition, he missed both the season opener as well as the Hoosiers’ game over the weekend. Once again, all signs point to Green being held out of Tuesday’s matchup.

Questionable

Damezi Anderson (Sore leg)

Anderson was a surprise scratch from the lineup on Saturday as he was held out of the matchup against Portland State due to what Archie Miller called a ‘sore leg’. It is unclear if he will suit up on Tuesday or if he will rest again.
