3. How Does Jerome Hunter Respond?

The biggest question mark to the Indiana basketball program has been Jerome Hunter, and despite not playing a single second of college basketball, he is the biggest x-factor coming into the 2019-20 season.

After getting fully cleared for basketball activities earlier this summer, Hunter has been a pleasant surprise this fall with how he has performed, despite not playing competitive basketball for nearly two years.

The 6-foot-7 hybrid forward had a very nice couple of minutes in Hoosiers Hysteria that made fans raise expectations for him this season, and once again he backed that up with a seven-point outing against Marquette.

It has been a week since they last played, so he should be well rested, but it will once again be another test in how his body responds to what will now be a fully constructed college basketball game.

Regardless of how many points he scores, what will be interesting to see is how he does with handling the ball and just making basketball plays. With a good amount of rust last week, seeing Hunter improve on the little things will be a great sign in what fans can really expect this season from the former top-60 recruit.
