3.  Wan’Dale Robinson

Despite not being the leading receiver for Nebraska, Robinson is probably the most versatile player on the roster.

Robinson, who is listed as a wideout and is second on the team in receptions (27), is also used heavily as a runner. Whether it be due to the lack of depth in the backfield or the effectiveness he has, it’s working.

With 49 carries on the season, he is averaging a team-high 4.4 yards per carry with two touchdowns on the ground. While most of his touches have come in the last four games, 41, he put up a 89-yard performance on the ground against Illinois, and also a 44-yard outing against Northwestern, albeit most of it coming off of a 42-yard touchdown.

Up and down as a pass catcher, he has put together five games with three or more receptions and still tallies nearly 13 yards per catch despite two of his last three games resulting in just 18 total yards.

Robinson is dealing with an injury, however. After getting banged up in the Minnesota matchup last week, the coaching staff for Nebraska said they are ‘hopeful’ to have the playmaking freshman out on the field come Saturday.
