The Indiana football program is looking to become bowl eligible on Saturday when traveling to Nebraska. Here are the five players to watch for on the Cornhuskers.

It’s another big game for the Indiana football program as they not only look for one more win to get back to a bowl game, but also improve to 6-2, continuing on the best start in program history in over 10 years.

With back-to-back road games, however, there could be a bit of a letdown from the Hoosiers, especially with another team in Nebraska, much like Maryland, looking to get their season back on track.

While Nebraska came into the 2019 season with high expectations, those have been quickly shot down as the 4-3 Cornhuskers have been outscored 82-14 in their last two losses, to Ohio State and Minnesota.

For the Hoosiers, they could have an issue with some of the big playmakers on the Nebraska offense, but it will be interesting to see who plays come Saturday with a lot of the Nebraska offense in a bit of an injury prone space right now.

If everyone plays, who is expected to, this weekend, this game could be a lot closer than some think, but also cause many fits for an Indiana defense that is average at best from top-to-bottom.

Here are the five players the Hoosiers need to watch out for come Saturday’s matchup against Nebraska.
