3. Tyrrell Pigrome

Pigrome has seen time in all three seasons prior to this year, and even entered the 2017 season as the starting QB, suffering a season-ending injury in the second half of the season opener, but now he will be asked to take over for the foreseeable future as Josh Jackson is expected to miss time with an ankle injury.

The junior QB has mostly been used as a dual-threat option in different offensive packages for his career, but will now be asked to run the entire offense and utilize the whole playbook.

In his last two games this year, Pigrome has thrown for just 329 yards with a 59.6 completion percentage. With a high-powered offense that has been on display at times with Jackson, it has taken a bit of a step back with Pigrome as he has yet to throw a passing touchdown in his two games with extended minutes.

What he has excelled at is what Maryland used him for in the past; his legs. With 129 rushing yards in his last two games, Pigrome has averaged 6.3 yards per carry and has punched it in the end zone once.

With his ability to get out of the pocket and make plays out of nothing, the front seven for Indiana is crucial as they have struggled with quarterbacks who have the ability to scramble in their six games this season.
