Indiana is looking to rebound after a disappointing end to last year. What games must they win to make that happen?

The Hoosiers are looking to forget about the end of last year and surprise people this year. Picked to finish anywhere from 7-10 in the Big Ten preseason polls not much is expected from Indiana, but Archie Miller believes this team can be something special.

Indiana hasn’t made the NCAA Tournament since 2015-16 and they are looking to make it back. Last year looked like the year they would get back but a stretch of awful basketball kept them out despite their good non-conference wins.

The seat is getting a little hot for Miller as he tries to bring the Hoosiers back, but the fans want wins now.

Romeo Langford was supposed to be the savior for the Hoosiers last year, but he didn’t mesh well with the rest of the team and it showed on the court. Langford played well but he didn’t shoot from the outside at a high clip and it rubbed off on the rest of the team.

Langford is now gone and so is Juwan Morgan, but the team might actually be better this year. Devonte Green will look to take the lead this year and lead the Hoosiers.

It looks like the pieces are in place to make a surprise run but they need to get big wins along the way. So what games are must-wins for the Hoosiers to help their chances to make the tournament?

We take a look at the five most important games for the Hoosiers to win. They are as close to must-wins as we see on this schedule and will go a long way in helping the Hoosiers this year. All of the games in the non-conference against mid-major games are must-wins, but we are assuming they get those wins and look more at the games that will help their resume.
