4. The Wildcard Lineup

Al Durham

Jerome Hunter

Justin Smith

Trayce Jackson-Davis

De’Ron Davis

I don’t think this would ever be a starting lineup, but it could be fun to see.

The smallest guy in the lineup is Al Durham at 6-foot-4, and it could be fun to see how Jerome Hunter functioned as a starter.

This lineup not only would give Indiana a size advantage over virtually any opponent, but it would be a pretty lockdown defensive unit as well.

Jerome Hunter projects as a very good defender both inside and out at 6-foot-8 and he could take his man in the post with ease in the starting 2 spot.

I highly doubt this happens, however, because Hunter will most likely be eased into the lineup after having not played a basketball game in nearly two years.

This lineup also provides questions and doubts about the flow and methodology of the offense. However, I still think it would be fun to see this massive lineup. It could be extremely effective in small doses this year.
