@ Purdue – November 30th

The battle for the Old Oaken Bucket is in West Lafayette this year and while the Hoosiers feel like they can win this game, hopefully, they have already clinched a bowl berth. Adding in that possibility would only heighten the drama and excitement of this game.

The last two years that is exactly where the Hoosiers have been and both times the Boilermakers have been able to block their path to a bowl game. Indiana would like nothing more than to turn the tables on them and deny them a chance to go bowling which could be a possibility.

Purdue has an explosive offense if everyone is healthy. Unfortunately for the Boilermakers, it looks like they will be without starting quarterback Elijah Sindelar for the rest of the season after he broke his clavicle against Minnesota.

The Boilermakers still have Rondale Moore as long as his leg injury doesn’t linger too long into the rest of the season though. If he is healthy, he is one of the biggest playmakers on any field. He will be tough to stop for the Hoosiers secondary but if they key on him especially with a backup quarterback playing they should be able to slow him down.

Indiana has revenge on its mind this year after Purdue ended its season in the last two years and take advantage of a banged-up Purdue team.

They come away with a huge road win, take home the Old Oaken Bucket, and possibly in the process keep the Boilermakers from making a bowl game.
