@ Penn State – November 16th

The Hoosiers travel up to State College after their second bye to take on what will either be a highly ranked Penn State team or one trying to get back on track.

Before the Hoosiers, the Nittany Lions play Minnesota, but before that, they have three straight games with Iowa, Michigan, and Michigan State. Win all of those games and Penn State may be in the top five. Stumble and they may not even be ranked.

Either way, the Nittany Lions have shown they can score points against lesser teams, and right now that is what Indiana is. Penn State demolished Maryland earlier this year 59-0 and looked good doing it. They look like a team that should still be on that path when they host the Hoosiers, and this is going to be a tough game for Indiana to win, better yet keep close.

The Hoosiers kept it close last year before eventually falling at home. They may not be that lucky this year.

Right now it seems like their only hope is to have Penn State be reeling from losing all three of their big games and catch them looking ahead to Ohio State the next week.

They may get lucky and have them looking ahead if they win all their games. If that happens the Hoosiers must take advantage, but more than likely it will still be tough to win this game.
