In another opportunity for a big win on Saturday for Indiana football, we come at you with a few bold predictions for the Big Ten matchup.

Just two weeks ago, the Indiana football program was looking for a program altering win against Ohio State. Obviously, that didn’t go as according to plan. However, the Hoosiers have another big opportunity against Michigan State this Saturday.

We talked about it earlier this week how Indiana’s biggest concern is their inconsistent play, but if they are able to nail that down big things could be on its way. That is exactly what they will look to do this weekend.

While Michigan State doesn’t have the same firepower as the Buckeyes, the Spartans are a hard-nosed and well coached team that, for the most part, rarely beats itself. Because of that, Indiana will need to play a clean game from start to finish in order to come out with a win in East Lansing.

Since Indiana’s win against Michigan State in 2016, the Hoosiers have lost the last two matchups, but just by an average of 11.0 points, including last year’s game which was a one possession game until a late touchdown by the Spartans.

With the Spartans creeping into the AP Poll this week, this will be the fifth time in as many seasons that the Hoosiers will face off against a ranked Michigan State team, coming off of its best offensive performance of the season against Northwestern.

Here are three bold predictions ahead of this Saturday’s matchup.
