Former Indiana basketball guard Victor Oladipo continues his comeback trend after a new video surfaces about his rehab.

With the offseason winding down and training camp starting to gear up in the NBA, one former Indiana basketball star is still working his way back from an injury earlier this season.

Victor Oladipo has become one of the best two-way players in the NBA since his trade to the Indiana Pacers two years ago, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s an extremely likable guy too.

Last season however, Oladipo suffered a gruesome leg injury that caused him to miss the last couple of months of the season. Earlier this week, fans got an update on his rehab and the progress he has made thus far.

In addition to the workout video, Pacers’ head coach Nate McMillan gave an update on the timeline and added that Oladipo is “in a great space mentally” and that he “is doing great”. You can find the rest of McMillan’s comments here.

With just 33 days until the Pacers are back on the court, there is still no timeline for Oladipo, but there is optimism that he will be back before the new year.

Last season the six-year vet averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in just 36 total games. It was the first time in his career that he had played less than 67 games. The former second overall pick in the 2013 draft is coming off of two straight All-Star selections, including an All-NBA Third Team selection in 2018.

With the Eastern Conference continuing to get better over the past few seasons, Oladipo’s health is a major factor in how good the Indiana Pacers will be this year.
