3. Nick Westbrook

Indiana needs its big play wideout back, and back soon.

Westbrook has been one of the best deep threat wide receivers in the Big Ten throughout his Indiana career, but has been almost non-existent thus far in 2019.

If you take out Westbrook’s 75-yard touchdown grab in week one, he has just five catches for 59 yards on the year, something not good enough for a 1,000 yard receiver just a few seasons ago.

Kalen DeBoer has made his presence felt so far this season however, loving to spread out the ball, as shown by 13 players with a catch and 10 with three or more receptions. While this is great to make it difficult on opposing defenses, the Hoosiers do need to make sure to get the ball in the hands of their best players more often.

With most of UConn’s defensive backs standing at at least 6-foot-1, Westbrook won’t have a huge size advantage in terms of height, but will have roughly 30 pounds on most of the DB’s in the rotation.
