Indiana Basketball: Top five-star target schedules official visit to IU
By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball recruiting is narrowing in on some of its top targets for the 2020 and 2021 classes, with a major official visit scheduled.
With the live recruiting period beginning this past week, the Indiana basketball program has been out on the road, all across the country visiting some of its top targets in both the 2020 and 2021 classes.
Archie Miller has put an emphasis on 2021 PG Khristian Lander, and on Thursday, Lander scheduled a visit to Indiana this fall, per Jeff Rabjohns.
Not only will he be taking an official visit, he will also be on an his visit with two of his Indiana Elite AAU teammates and current IU commits for the 2020 class, Trey Galloway and Anthony Leal.

Ranked No. 17 in the 247Sports 2021 class, Lander is the top ranked point guard and will be a high impact player right when he steps on campus.
Archie Miller and staff were also in Evansville this week to visit the five-star target, continuing to amp up the pressure and communication in his recruitment.
Not only is this a great step in the right direction for the Hoosiers, but the fact that he will be visiting with two teammates and current commits will only help the staff show Lander how he can fit in the IU system and be a major player in Bloomington.
Point guard has been a huge point of emphasis for the Indiana staff and by all assumptions it doesn’t look great for the Hoosiers to land a point guard in the 2020 class, so Lander’s potential commitment because even more important and crucial for Archie Miller in 2021.
Louisville and Indiana seem to be the two teams to beat, and with another official visit planned on Sept 27 for the Cardinals, it seems like the interest is mutual between Lander and both programs.
