Indiana Basketball: Breaking down IU’s 5 PG targets in 2020

The newest interest for the Indiana coaching staff, Cam Hayes, has just come about. The previous 2021 point guard reclassified to 2020 and has numerous high-major schools pursuing him.
Not previously involved with Hayes as a 2021 target, the pursuit has increased since his reclassification. It’ll be a major uphill battle for the Hoosiers though. NC State, Maryland and Louisville are all out in front of the rest of the pack when it comes to the four-star guard.
Though not heavily involved as of now, if Indiana can somehow snag a visit from the North Carolina native, it could mean his recruitment is a bit more open than previously thought.
If the Wolfpack end up with Hayes, it’ll be interesting to see how it impacts Carter Whitt, but for now I would put my money on NC State or Louisville to land Hayes.
