Matt Cross remains a top target for Archie Miller, and the Indiana basketball program holds five advantages over the other programs vying for his commitment.

As Matt Cross is set to begin his final official visit to Texas A&M next weekend, the Indiana basketball program awaits a decision it hopes will benefit them in the 2020 class. Archie Miller has put in ample time in Cross’ recruitment and hopes it pays off.

The Hoosiers hold two commitments from Trey Galloway and Anthony Leal in the 2020 class but hold two more available scholarship spots to fill up and have prioritized Cross as one of those players.

Cross has taken five official visits, one of them being as a junior, and has Florida, Butler, South Carolina, and Miami vying for his commitment along with Indiana and the aforementioned Texas A&M.

Indiana has been mentioned as the program that may have the strongest hold on Cross as his recruitment winds down, but after a strong Florida visit and Miami and South Carolina still just as much involved, the Hoosiers will be holding their breath until a commitment.

Miller, though, has positioned the Hoosiers nicely and we break down the five reasons why Cross will ultimately end his recruitment with a commitment to Indiana.
