Who can the Indiana football program upset this season? We take a look at some of the biggest upset potentials for the Hoosiers in 2019.

If Indiana football wants to return to its first bowl game since 2016, the Hoosiers will likely have to pull off one or two upsets in Big Ten play.

The good (or bad, depending on how you look at it) news is, playing in the East Division of the Big Ten allows the Hoosiers multiple chances at upset bids. In fact, Indiana is only likely to be true favorites in two or three of its Big Ten games this season.

Hoosier State of Mind ran a twitter poll this week asking some of our followers to vote on which team would be on upset watch when playing the Hoosiers and were surprised to see some of the results.

Obviously the season could go an entirely different direction than predicted right now, but currently Ohio State ranks No. 5 in the AP Poll, Michigan No. 7, Penn State No. 15, Michigan State No. 18, and Nebraska at No. 24.

In this article, however, we’re going to take a look at Indiana’s four best chances for pulling off a major upset.

While Nebraska may be the hardest game for the Hoosiers this season, we are going to look at the four picks that received the highest votes.
