Indiana Football: Game-by-game predictions; Weeks 5-8
By Alec Lasley
Week Eight: Nebraska
OCT 26 (SAT) TBA
LINCOLN, NEB.
Nebraska enters 2019 as a very intriguing team as they were just 4-8 a season ago but had five of their losses come by less than one touchdown.
Scott Frost looks to build off of that, closing out more games in 2019 and it starts and ends with Adrian Martinez.
Martinez is a Heisman Candidate under center who threw for over 2,600 yards and rushed for over 600 combining for 25 touchdowns in 2018. The sophomore quarterback will look to build off of those numbers and have the Cornhuskers in the race for the division title.
With three of Indiana’s four games in these past four weeks coming on the road, it’ll be tough to escape all of them with wins.
The Hoosiers will run out of steam in this matchup and fall on the road. A tough environment with one of the best players in the country will just be too much for the Hoosiers.
