Week Seven: Maryland

OCT 19 (SAT) TBA
COLLEGE PARK, MD.

After back-to-back wins, the Hoosiers head to Maryland who will trot out one of the better transfers in the country at the quarterback position, Josh Jackson.

The Virginia Tech transfer enters as an effective dual threat option under center and has been impressive in camp thus far for the Terrapins.

Pairing Jackson with Anthony McFarland, who rushed for over 1,000 yards as a freshman last year including 210 against IU, their rushing attack and skill will be in the backfield.

The Terrapins have talent on the outside but have little experience, especially in big games.

Indiana beat Maryland by two in a shootout last season, and I don’t see that changing in 2019 despite this game being played in College Park.

Prediction: Indiana 35, Maryland 24
