Indiana Basketball: 5 most hated Purdue players of all-time
AJ Hammons (2012-2016)
Yet another 2010’s era big man, A.J. Hammons was as talented as any Purdue player from the past two decades.
Hammons is a decorated Boilermaker, with plenty of accolades such as All-Big Ten and All-Big Ten defensive team to his name.
At one point, he was projected to be a high NBA draft pick, but his well known lack of effort and bad attitude held him back from reaching his full potential.
While he never really had any great showings against Indiana, Hammons always got on my nerves because of his aforementioned attitude.
His defensive skills, however, did provide opposing teams a tough time, especially when he was paired next to the even more talented Caleb Swannigan.
