Isaac Haas (2014-2018)

Another Boilermaker giant, Isaac Haas was the Purdue big man preceding Matt Haarms. While Haarms very well may have passed him in terms of annoyance to Indiana fans, Haas has his own claim to a spot on this list as well.

Haas spent most of his college career as a backup for many other talented Purdue big men such as A.J. Hammons and Caleb Swannigan. He had a massive impact on the court, however, due to his 7’2” frame, which gave young backup centers such as Juwan Morgan and De’ron Davis a tough challenge.

In Haas’ lone appearance as a starter against the Hoosiers, he scored 26 points and added five rebounds, adding fuel to the already burning fire of frustration.

Similarly to Haarms, Haas disturbed Indiana fans with his passionate, dramatic style of play. The Hoosiers were also a disappointing 1-5  against Purdue when they had Haas playing down low.

Indiana Basketball’s recent struggles have only made for a more irritable fanbase, and Haas certainly caused some of that irritation.
