3. Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Cornhuskers are led by second year coach Scott Frost, who posted a 4-8 record in his first season. However, five of those losses were games lost by five points or less, which includes a loss against No. 8 Ohio State.

The team has a promising young quarterback in sophomore Adrian Martinez, one of the Heisman Trophy candidates entering the season, and the 18th best recruiting class in the country, good for fourth best in the Big Ten.

As an up and coming program with a good recruiting class and favorable schedule, expect the Cornhuskers to make a run for the top spot in the Big Ten West and potentially make their first bowl game since 2016.

Indiana travels to Nebraska in week eight and that comes as a third road game in four weeks.
